Japanese Stab-Bound Notebooks (In Studio)
A technique that requires no glue, but lets you get creative with stitching of the spine. We'll make small notebooks covered in dyed or patterened papers and coloured thread for the spines.

Chiyogami Paper Hanging Frames (In Studio)
Using beautiful Chiyogami papers, we'll cover boards creating a surface that acts as a frame for a favourite photo or art work. You'll be provided with a brass pin clip to push into the board to display the photo with a backdrop of the handprinted and gold-tinged Chiyogami paper.
All tools and materials are provided.

Dye/Paint with Kakishibu & Make a Small Lampshade (In Studio)

A traditional dye made from the juice of unripe persimmon fruit and used in Japan to treat paper for strength, to repel insects, and for water resistance. We will dye or paint on the dye affix the small artworks as lampshades on a small frame. 
All tools and materials are provided.
